Delivered with beautiful artistry that almost reached a sensory overload as it played heavily on variety that comes in all forms and textures, Peter Pilotto’s Fall Winter 2014 at London Fashion Week, infused graphic embroidery with fur trim, trippy prints with stripes of webbed sport belting, and a handful of strapless bodycon dresses in colourful florals.
With strong Asian and architectural influence that seems to contradict and complement each other at the same time, the designer shows a graduation into a more evolved level creation, infusing avant-garde with a modern approach.
Full of opulent treats the collection served up vibrant surprises of ribbed knits in clashing geometrics while other looks coordinated tops and skirts with Technicolor mother-of-pearl embellishment.
The show was “an expression of hybrid seasons and moods.” said designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos.
