Panerai has opened its first Taiwanese boutique on the ground floor of the Taipei 101 Mall and has also unveiled a special edition for China.
Spanning 70m², the interior design of the new boutique is inspired by the sea – a reference to the brand’s naval past – characterised by teak, steel and porthole shaped windows.
Inside you’ll also find a big clock which highlights one of the distinguishing features of Panerai’s watches, the “sandwich” structure of the dial (top).
The special edition for China celebrates the Year of the Rabbit and is limited to a production run of 25 units. Available in Panerai’s Shanghai and Beijing boutiques from the end of January, a rabbit’s illustration is hand-engraved on the cover of the watch.
The Panerai Luminor Sealand is the third edition from Panerai’s Chinese Zodiac collection and is fitted with Panerai’s OPIII automatic movement certified by the C.O.S.C.
