Come August, Oyster Bar will be celebrating the nation’s birthday by spicing up menu classics with a local twist. Commemorate Singapore’s 46th birthday – which falls on August 9 – by sampling specialties infused with local flavors found only on the Bar’s exclusive National Day Menu.
Sure to fire up the patriot within you, the Oyster Bar will serve up your favorite oysters alongside unusual pairings like satay sauce and homemade ketupat, Laksa aglio olio, Lobster Fidelini mee goreng, Wagyu beef rendang and Pandan crème brulee. The island’s unofficial national dish, wok-fried chilli crab, will also be given a luxe spin by the use of premium Alaskan King Crab.
As the sun sets, round off your festive meal with Singapore-inspired cocktails for the night, such as the Pandan Colada and the classic Singapore Sling, and enjoy your frontrow view of the National Day fireworks at Marina Bay.
