Everyone knows of the intoxicating, unguent scent of a new car’s leather interior. While the first Mercedes-Benz fragrance for men won’t make you smell like you just bought a SL550 Roadster, it might, with luck, drive the ladies crazy.
The luxury German automakers has revealed plans to launch a new Eau de Toilette, a collaboration with the INCC Group and developed by top nose Olivier Cresp. The perfume and other related products will go for sale early next year.
Housed in a minimalist, quietly masculine flagon that you won’t be embarassed to tote around in your gym duffle, Mercedes-Benz says the fragrance will be redolent of Calabrian bergamot, lemon essence and Italian mandarin.
Its heart a warm, spicy concoction of bourbon pepper, nutmeg, violet and galbanum resin, the perfume will linger with base notes of American cedar wood, vetyver grass and patchouli. More detailings forthcoming, so watch this space.
