Aaron Kwok presents Joao Moreira with a coveted timepiece from the Conquest Classic collection

It was a day of speculation and frenzy at the Hong Kong Happy Valley Racecourse on December 5, as 12 world-class jocks competed in four rounds of racing in the annual Longines International Jockeys’ Championship.

The first prize went to Joao Moreira from Singapore, who clocked up 24 points, taking home HK$ 500,000 and a timepiece from the newly-unveiled Conquest Classic collection. Hong Kong’s Zac Purton finished second with 18 points, followed by Ryan Moore from United Kingdom with 12 points. Both Purton and Moore were awarded hour glass souvenirs by Kevin Rollenhagen, managing director of The Swatch Group Hong Kong, and Juan-Carlos Capelli, vice president & head of international marketing of Longines.

Canto pop singer and Longines Ambassador of Elegance Aaron Kwok was also there to witness the occasion.
