At last week’s Guangzhou International Auto Show, Hublot announced that it has become the watch-making partner of Ferrari. To celebrate the occasion, the Swiss watch manufacture offered a sneak-peek of the first Ferrari-stamped Hublot watch to a room of motor fanatics on November 21.
Featuring a sophisticated single push-piece chrono movement, the Big Bang Chrono Tourbillon Ferrari is produced in a limited edition of 20. The case is made entirely from carbon fiber, titanium and rubber, while the sapphire crystal, lightly tinted red, pays homage to the ubiquitous red that has characterized the Italian sports car manufacturer since the 1920s. Nobility factor is bumped up by the Porosus Hornback crocodile strap, again laced with red stitching.
Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of Hublot, commented on the partnership: “This collaboration, rich in a host of synergies, gives Hublot a massive boost along the road.”
The Big Bang Chrono Tourbillon Ferrari will be presented at Basel 2012.
