Hilton Worldwide has opened its first, luxury Conrad property in Mainland China, the Conrad Sanya Haitang Bay.
It’s the first luxury hotel to open in Haitang Bay (the newest resort area to be developed on the southern tip of Hainan Island) and comprises 101 rooms and villas, with the villas all boasting their own, private swimming pools.
The property has four restaurants and bars: Teatro, an all-day dining restaurant; La Chine which serves contemporary Hainan and Cantonese cuisine; Senses, a specialty restaurant featuring fresh, local seafood; and Vue Lounge, an alfresco space for enjoying afternoon tea or cocktails.
Particular features include a 435-metre beach, two outdoor swimming pools, a fitness centre, tennis courts, a kids club and a spa.
