Founded in 2009 by fine lingerie designer Arielle Shapiro, ARI DEIN has quickly developed a reputation for locally produced luxury goods in Manhattan and beyond.
ARI DEIN fine lingerie and sleepwear will debut its eighth season at the CFDA Fashion Incubator during lingerie market week.
Traditionally a collection of 100% silkintimates hand crafted and made-to-order in the historic New York City Garment District, ARI DEIN’s distinctive and nostalgic designs were additionally translated in 100% cotton last season with phenomenal success.
Delicate ivory leavers lace woven in a geometric Faberge pattern adorns blue charmeuse and subtly striped crepe de chine elevating the fine lingerie collection, while pure white cotton eyelets and fresh chambray sprinkled with jacquard dots round out the every day items.
The mission of ARI DEIN has always been to create something irresistibly beautiful, perfectly constructed, and with a nod to an Old New York “forgotten era”. These constant sensibilities applied to the new collectionensure that the ARI DEIN brand remains seasonless, timeless, and a true lifestyle company.
Fashion Week 2013 will also see the return of renowned French couturiers Alexis Mabille, On Aura Tout Vu, Julien Fournie and Stephane Rolland. As members and invited members of La Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture they will once again present the craftsmanship and artistry inherent in their craft.
Representing the very best of Asian Couture, they will be joined by Frederick Lee, Lie Sang Bong, Sebastian Gunawan, Yumi Katsura, Michael Cinco, Vatit Itthi and Guo Pei. As part of a special Japanese Couture Evening, Junko Koshino, Yoshiki Hishinuma and Keita Maruyama will be showing their collections.
