A while ago we featured the hammock-like bathtub, Vessel by Splinter Works which we must add, was an absolute head-turner. Splinter Works has once again managed to grab our attention. This time we move from the bathroom to the living room, with the Bodice Rocker. The lounge chair takes on an anthropomorphic sculptural form, when poised vertically.
With a light push, it rocks back and pauses giving the impression that it is levitating. No strings attached, we promise you. In this position, its looks morph from that of a sensual looking sculpture to something more reminiscent of a chaise lounge. Nudge it a bit more, and it lays flat on the ground, ready for you to sit and stretch out on its soft padded leather.
Splinter Works will tailor the Bodice Rocker to the client’s requirements. Clients can customize the colour of the leather and the stitching. For a more bespoke option, Splinter Works will even custom sculpt the Bodice Rocker to the client’s body type for a more ergonomic fit.
