Homeowners looking to bring the road indoors will be chuffed to know that Bentley Motors is staging an auction of unique – and functional – collector’s items, handcrafted in Crewe to raise money for The Prince’s Trust, a charity benefiting disadvantaged youths.
This year’s batch of gifted Bentley graduates are the creators of this range of 20 imaginative and beautifully wrought one-off pieces, each bearing a Bentley signature element that car lovers will immediately recognize. Case in point: a table created from a polished V8 engine from the Bentley Mulsanne.
The auction will be hosted online – if you’re interested, bidding has just been opened. The items will also be exhibited at Bentley dealerships later in the year, as well as at the Goodwood Revival Festival on September 16 to 18.
Guests at these events will be able to view the items, learn about their creation, talk to the Bentley graduates behind this project and, of course, place bids in aid of The Prince’s Trust.
