First off to rock the runway at this year’s New York Fashion Week 2014 was the designer BCBG Max Azria showcasing his Fall/Winter 2014 collection.
Heavy on fur accents from foxes, raccoons, rabbits and sheepskin, the collection used this Eco-friendly option, minus the compassion, as coat trims, collars and as hand-warming muffs.
Muted pastels, color-blocking, asymmetry and juxtaposing materials were the order of the day, with a delightful range of ponchos rising above the radar, with streamlined chic layering, and a heavy focus on texture.
Long lovely gowns, shearling, parkas, cashmere beanies, tunics, knee-high boots, and menswear shirts also made an appearance.
If you are planning on traveling to cooler climates and find your closet’s current state of affairs have gotten stale, this opulent collection by BCBG Max Azria has more than several gorgeous pieces to give you the extra breath of fresh air.
