MANGO sent a sashay of pink-cheeked models down the runway for Audi Fashion Festival 2009 held in Singapore. Dubbed “A Playground of Dreams”, the collection is inspired by an eclectic mix of nature and the fun silhouettes of eighties fashion.
Citrus tones of orange, pink and yellow were recurring colours in the collection where silhouettes were emphasized in exaggerated sleeves and wrap-around items. Unabashedly the inspiration of the night, the eighties saw a revival with the playful one-shoulder mini dresses and strapless necklines in eye-catching fluorescent hues.
Chunky accessories sprinkled on the models coupled with bold smudges of pink on the cheeks and lips completed the look for MANGO’s latest collection.
