Alice + Olivia‘s new season embraces an edgy, eccentric and whimsical aesthetic with sumptuous brocades, luxe velvets, delicate lace and shimmering metallics.
Taking inspiration from the Victorian era this collection is bewitching, enchanting and free-spirited featuring royal hues of emerald greens, regal reds and sapphire blues with butterfly motifs, lacy collars, ruffled sleeves, and a plethora of pretty frocks.
With less play on fantasy their are also more corporate options that include menswear inspired trousers as well as simple yet form-fitting day dresses. Flared and full skirts with pleats are in high stock this fall season, while gowns feature crystal embellishments for a romantic approach.
For accessories, the Alice + Olivia woman wears NYC boots and pumps while bags also take on fairy tale figures with names like “Owl” or “Bear”.
