British style icon Alfred Dunhill has announced a new campaign called Voice, a celebration of brilliance that marks a shift in the company’s communications philosophy.
Voice brings together three very dapper British gentlemen – Sir David Frost, Harland Miller and Charlie Siem – kitted out in Alfred Dunhill’s finest threads (and accessories) while engaging in some candid banter.
Veteran journalist Frost (you may recognize him as the better half of Frost/Nixon), talks for the first time about one of his heroes, the Angel with a Bushy Beard of Calcutta. The video doesn’t showcase a male supermodel with fierce facial hair. Instead, the story zooms in on Frost’s words of wisdom. Take a gander and come back for more.
Alfred Dunhill is emphasizing achievement as the “ultimate male aspiration” and that’s what the Voice campaign hopes to show. The black-and-white format is standard for this campaign and is applied to the Miller and Siem videos too.
Miller, author of Slow Down Arthur, Stick to Thirty and celebrated artist, talks about how he learned to stop worrying and love being creative at school in his Voice video. Acclaimed violinist Siem rounds out the cast this time, talking in his video about the pressure of performing.
