British house Alfred Dunhill is set to open its first fine dining restaurant in the Middle East at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai come January 2012. The launch of Alfie’s Restaurant and Lounge, which promises to hew to the Dunhill’s elegant and quietly masculine aesthetic, will coincide with the unveiling of the brand’s fashion boutique in the same retail area.
The opening marks Alfred Dunhill’s third global restaurant opening after Shanghai and Hong Kong. The British luxury men’s label has of course a flagship restaurant, Bourdon House, on homeground at 2 Davies Street, also considered one of the finest in London.
Commenting on the imminent opening of the Dubai restaurant, Nader Elmir, general manager of Alfred Dunhill, Europe & Middle East said: “We are very excited about this new venture into one of Dubai’s most iconic destinations. Alfie’s will be the perfect platform to illustrate the essence of the Dunhill brand in an elegant and inspirational environment.”
