Shot on location in Calabria, Naples and Bari using 4K cinema cameras, “A Golden Light Underneath My Car” is a short film from Alexander Basile that shows off the Spring/Summer 2013 collection from Carhartt WIP.
As explained by Carhartt creatives, “Bari shares many similarities with the great expanse of Detroit, showing an extraordinary mismatch of 1960-1990 urban architecture. This is a story of the strong friendship needed to survive in a modern day metropolis.”
The result is a contemporary take on the classic lookbooks of yesteryear – subtlety mixing sartorial offerings with a “never forced” narrative.
