Zenith is celebrating 111 years of its chronograph history with a roving worldwide exhibition that’s currently on show in Hong Kong.
The brand has won 1,565 awards at Swiss Observatory Chronometer competitions during its 140 year history, and on display are 32 chronographs from Zenith’s vintage collection.
Mr Jean-Frederic Dufour, Global CEO of Zenith, said: “We are very proud to introduce Zenith’s history to watch fans in Hong Kong during the 111th anniversary of the birth of its chronograph. This will allow consumers to have a closer look at Zenith’s brand philosophy of striving for precision.”
The exhibition encompasses Zenith’s history with the chronograph complication, from the pocket chronograph crafted in 1899 to the single-button manual-winding chronograph made in 1910, and from the first El Primero chronograph that appeared in 1969 to the El Primero 1/10 jumping seconds chronograph reinvented in 2010.
The exhibit is on show at the Oriental Watch Company, Central and runs until January 2.
