As part of The Glenlivet‘s Pioneering Spirit campaign of supporting local talent, the fine malt whiskey hosted a gala premiere of its brand ambassador Eric Khoo’s latest full-length animated feature, ‘Tatsumi’.
The Pioneering Spirit is a yearlong campaign that will see the award-winning filmmaker and Cultural Medallion recipient hosting private screenings of his key works and chairing mentoring sessions for aspiring filmmakers.
“Tatsumi”, which was premiered exclusively at Great World City Golden Village, is Eric Khoo’s homage to legendary manga and comic artist Yoshihiro Tatsumi. The gala screening was graced by the artist himeself, Eric Khoo, Pernod Ricard representatives and local film-making industry players.
Speaking on his role as Glenlivet Ambassador, Eric Khoo said: ““I can relate to the spirit of passion and determination behind The Glenlivet. Working on a film is the same. It is never easy but when you have a vision and believe in it, you will succeed.”
