The Dalmore has released a 59 year old single malt called Eos, named after the Titan goddess of the dawn.
Selected from two sherry casks, Eos smells of honeyed pear, pineapple, bitter dark chocolate, roasted coffee, soft peaches, mangoes and almonds; while on the tongue you’ll find toffee, caramel, orange, golden syrup and cinnamon.
Only 20 decanters have been produced – made from mouth blown Portuguese crystal and packaged in a solid steel box inlaid with dark timber.
The whisky is priced at £15,000.
