Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited (Plaza Premium) has been appointed to design and operate the airports lounges at the newly-built extensions of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap international airports’ passenger terminals. The Hong Kong-based company will also introduce innovative services to travelers looking for airport value added arrangements including meet & greet service and spa & shower facilities.
“We are excited to announce cultural capitals Phnom Penh and Siem Reap as the latest additions to the Plaza Premium global network. Our lounges, spanning over 2,200 square metres in the two airports combined, are a promise of comfort, convenience and value. This latest development testifies to our commitment in making the global travel experience an enjoyable one.” said Song Hoi-see, Founder and CEO of Plaza Premium.
Contributing to further enhancing travel and airport experiences, the services are expected to start by midyear 2015 at Phnom Penh International Airport and by this year end at Siem Reap’s.
To cope with the steady increase of passengers, Cambodia Airports launched last January 2014 a US$100 million upgrading program to expand the terminals at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap international airports and double their capacity to 5 million passengers each. The commissioning of the new facilities is scheduled for early 2016.
“Cambodia Airports is delighted to have a like-minded partner in Plaza Premium, who shares our commitment to service quality and excellence. With their expertise in lounge management globally, we look forward to welcoming our passengers in our best-in-class airport lounges in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap international airports.” said Patrine Tay, Marketing and Sales Director of Cambodia Airports.
