Speedmaster Room at the OMEGA House
Omega, the Official Timekeeper of the London Olympic Games, has unveiled plans for an exclusive by-invite-only clubhouse that will offer guests an oasis of calm in the heart of London’s Soho district during the Games.
Located at the heart of Soho, the gorgeous Georgian townhouse at 1 Greek Street, completely refurbished for the occasion, will welcome a who’s who of Londoners and visitors to the Games. Expect to witness mega-wattage star power: Omega has confirmed that its brand ambassadors like Nicole Kidman and golfing legend Greg Norman will grace the events to be held at the House.
Design-wise, the Omega House will contain rooms that reflect some of the fine Swiss manufacture’s most iconic lines. The Ladymatic Room, for instance, is awash in an elegant, feminine palette.
Venture into the courtyard and you’ll find the Olympic Garden, boasting a large screen for viewing the games and sipping bubbly while mingling with friends on classic European furniture.
Meanwhile, the Hour Vision Room will be decked out to resemble the exclusive social clubs of the English city’s recent past. The sleek, futuristic Speedmaster Room, on the other hand, honors the first timepiece to be worn on the Moon, and is a reminder of Omega‘s forward-thinking spirit and longstanding relationship with NASA.
