Can’t decide which one is better to look at: puffy scones slathered in rose jam and cream, or a pair of pink-dipped suede pumps? The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong has come up with a simple solution.
The hotel has teamed fashion designer Jimmy Choo for a sumptuous array of afternoon tea snacks. Available at the MO Bar from April 2 to May 2, the bite-size cakes and sandwiches take inspiration from the American designer’s S/S 2013 collection. The smoked salmon cucumber sandwich for example, is made to resemble the pyramid studs that adorn the Cayla clutch, while the white chocolate “bag” pays tribute to Choo’s signature leopard print designs.
