Collaborations are always fun, especially if they’re done between a popular spunky makeup brand and a much-loved comic book from a pre-Twitter, pre-Facebook, and hell, even pre-Hotmail era.
Freckle-faced redhead Archie isn’t the only one who can’t decide between the blonde girl-next-door and sexy siren-residing-in-a-mansion; we’re also stuck between the two colour-contrasting collections.
The stalemate rivalry gets a new take this year, with the Betty collection featuring predominantly lighter and pastel shades for that sweet look, while the Veronica collection goes all sexy with darker sultrier tones. Each collection has lipsticks, lipglosses, eyeliners, mascaras, eye pigments, blushes, nail polishes, face powders and eyeshadow palettes.
There are also accessories such as a brush set, mirrors, and makeup pouches. Singapore’s MAC does not carry the coin purse and makeup bag, so if you want them, you’ll have to get them online.
The limited edition MAC Archie’s Girls collection is now available at all MAC counters islandwide in March and April 2013 only, so head on down soon before you miss it. Prices range from S$24-72.
