Celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the iconic Baguette, the six limited re-editions has recently been revealed at Fendi’s latest flagship opening at Ngee Ann City.
Launched in 1997, the so-called Fendi Baguette became one of the most popular and important accessories of the decade, earning Fendi Fashion Group the International award for accessories in 2000 for creating an enduring style icon that women the world over would covet and collect with passion.
If there ever was an “iconic” bag, the Baguette would most certainly deserve that accolade. Since Silvia Venturini Fendi designed the first Baguette back in 1997, the purse’s immediately recognizable silhouette has been embellished, deconstructed and offered in every hue possible; more than a thousand permutations of the coveted bag exist.
These six re-editions are: the Fendi Baguette Gialla, the Fendi Baguette Jeans, Fendi Baguette Paglia, Fendi Baguette Specchietti, Fendi Baguette Tucano and the Fendi Baguette Zucca.
