Men’s Miami Beach Polo
La Martina is sponsoring this year’s Miami Beach Polo World Cup. Started in 2004, the Miami Beach Polo World Cup has grown to become the world’s largest and most prestigious polo tournament held on a beach. Just shy of its 10 year anniversary, it attracts some of world’s elite men and women polo players.
We are no experts on polo but we figure that hitting a small ball with a polo stick while riding on a horse is no easy feat. Add sand into the mix, and the sport then begins to redefine the word ‘challenging’. This globally renowned event is considered the most coveted of its kind. The La Martina South Beach Women’s Polo Cup V takes place next week on April 25, while the La Martina Miami Beach Polo World Cup IX – the men’s tournament – takes place from April 27 to 29.
The event is not only about the tournament alone. Attendees will also get to experience the annual series of nightly VIP events. This year’s events will feature a fashion show by La Martina, in the VIP tent, which will be televised on E! Entertainment Latin America.
