IWC Schaffhausen has released the Portuguese Perpetual Calendar Double Moonphase Boutique Exclusive 2010 Edition: the first time the watch has been issued in 18-carat red gold case. Along with this news, the Swiss watch manufacture also announced the opening of its Marina Bay Sands boutique in Singapore.

Limited to just 30 units worldwide (available only at IWC boutiques), the timepiece runs on a manufacture movement from the calibre 5000 series offering a 7-day power reserve and deviation of just one day every 577 years.

Aside from the red gold, the 44.2mm watch is distinguished by an ardoise grey dial, solid red gold appliqués and midnight blue moon phase display. Take note that the double moon phase display tracks the movement of the moon as seen in both northern and southern hemispheres.
