The Versace Haute Couture Spring 2014 Collection hit a slightly cultic note soaked in sex, scandal & mystery, as if the models were ‘dressed to-chant’, propagate, and kill all in one night.
The enchanting Versace goddesses strut down the isle in sequins and crystal encrusted bodices made up of geometric patterns as well as Grace Jones big shoulders and draped hoods attached to jackets and dresses.
“I love to combine the traditions of couture with the daring of contemporary life. This collection has a control and elegance, as well as a provocative attitude, especially from the embellishments that are like tattoos on the skin,” Donatella said.
