Fendi’s Spring Summer 2015 collection includes the Orchidea sunglasses – which you have to admit is hard to ignore. The first time we saw a pair, we decided that we wanted a second look. Inspired by the exotic orchids embroidered on Fendi’s new ready-to-wear and accessory collection, these sunglasses are a declaration of femininity and sensuality. We particularly like the geometric overlapping of layers and colors. The stunning interplay between two frames floating and blending together is reminiscent of an orchid that blossoms in a mix of colors and shapes.
The oversize translucent butterfly shape features colorful cat-eye acetate and inserts that outline the eyes. The Orchidea sunglasses are a dazzling result of skilful handmade craftsmanship, emphasized by architectural contrasts between smooth lines and sharp edges, with flat metal temples in refined enamel colors.
The palette includes beautiful combination of transparent and vivid shades, recalling the colors of subtle orchids – the new iconic décor of Fendi. The Orchidea sunglasses are available in crystal with black, khaki with pink, beige with burgundy and turquoise with white.
