On October 26 the Hong Kong Jockey Club Amphitheatre played host to ‘Breguet‘s Celebration of Excellence: Munich Chamber Orchestra and Trey Lee’, a fundraising concert in aid of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA).
Vice President of Breguet Hong Kong and Taiwan, Mr Martin Ganz, commented: “Breguet is extremely proud and pleased to be a part of this meaningful event, where not only the most sublime music was showcased by world-class performers, but where it was also able to contribute to the future development of HKAPA‟s cultural life.”
Spotted at the event were Nobel Prize-winning physicist Professor Charles Kao and Mrs Gwen Kao, Secretary for the Environment Mr Edward Yau, Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs Mr Raymond Young and Director of Home Affairs Mrs Pamela Tan.
The concert raised scholarship funds for the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts School of Music.
