David von Gunten, CEO of Audemars Piguet Hong Kong & China
Committed to its support for the arts, Audemars Piguet hosts The Art of Timeless Precision photography exhibition from now until October 9 at Harbour City, Hong Kong.
Featuring provocative works from renowned photographers Carsten Schael and Yu Yuntian, the event doubles as a competition for aspiring shutterbugs. With gear provided by Swedish camera maker Hasselblad, students from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Hong Kong and Beijing Film Academy will flex their muscles – or rather lens – to gain a spot at the exhibition.
Winners will be given an opportunity to visit the Audemars Piguet Manufacture in Le Brassus, where they would apply their photography skills to capture the splendid Vallee de Joux – long touted as the watch-making cradle of Switzerland.
Heralding 136 years of the manufacture’s know-how, the new Jules Audemars collection will also be on display.
The Art of Timeless Precision will travel to China and exhibit at Shin Kong Place, Beijing from October 14 to 23.
