With the all the commotion about The End of the World in 2012, here’s an insight into how this prediction came about…
Q: What is the origin of the prediction that the world will end in 2012?
A: The story started with claims that Nibiru, a supposed planet discovered by the Sumerians, is headed toward Earth. This catastrophe was initially predicted for May 2003, but when nothing happened the doomsday date was moved forward to December 2012. Then these two fables were linked to the end of one of the cycles in the ancient Mayan calendar at the winter solstice in 2012 — hence the predicted doomsday date of December 21, 2012.

Meanwhile, seems we skipped global freezing as stated on the first, January sheet of Apocalypse Tomorrow ‘Gil Elvgren-inspired’ calendar drawn by Moscow based artist Andrew Tarusov.
If you’re going to be braving the apocalypse, might as well be with perfectly combed hair, short skirts and high heels for the ladies, and suiting up for the men in perfectly ironed tuxedos – right!?
In any case, share with us which month’s pinup is your favorite.
