Recently on September 13, Anthesis Boulangerie Bistro & Cafe, held its official launch at Robertson Blue in Singapore. Over two separate sessions, in the day and the evening, Anthesis welcomed more than 100 guests to its opening. As guests arrived at the lovely waterfront cafe, they were invited to pose for photos behind a large photo frame hanging from a statuesque tree at the alfresco dining area.
VIPs and members of the media were welcomed with a refreshing spritzer of Elderflower Cordial with Sparkling San Pellegrino. Once inside the cafe, they were greeted with the aroma of freshly baked breads served with homemade orange marmalade and strawberry jams. An all-day brunch menu was also available for sampling. The menu included Anthesis’ signature Tuna Tataki Sandwich on Olive Focaccia, Smoked Salmon on Brioche Burger Bun and Brioche French Toast Stack.
While enjoying the delectable treats at the cosy new joint, guests were entertained with a live performance by Singaporean singer-songwriter Juliet Pang and Didi Mudigdo from Sydney. Belting out jazz and evergreen classics, the ukulele/bass duo known as Polkadot & Moon Beam, were occasionally accompanied by celebrity host, Mervyn Ang who also played along with the ukulele.
