We’ve previously released images of James Franco fronting 7 for All Mankind’s S/S 12 campaign. Here’s a first look at their lookbook.

The Spring-Summer 2012 collection takes its cue from the color palettes and silhouettes of the 1950s. The result is evocative of a California road trip: perfectly worn-in, sun-bleached with a sophisticated interplay of colors and form.

Colored bottoms from the men’s collection are a nod to the bold colors of American design duo Charles and Ray Earnes. Vibrant colors are washed down to create subdued shades for effortlessly chic style. The Straight, a modern take on the classic straight leg, has a bit more room in the top with a tapered leg for a subtly updated look and feel. Complement with a delectable array of denim-inspired Workwear shirts and washed-down blazers.

From the Women’s collection, the new Slim Straight is, no doubt, this season’s hero piece. Derived from the brand’s iconic straight leg, it features a 28” cropped inseam for a modern cigarette shape and is offered in a wide assortment of both denim and non-denim fabrics and colors. Other standouts include the wide-leg Erin and high-waist Savanah, both featuring exquisite trouser details such as welt pockets and darts.
