Kris Grikaite stars in Prada’s resort 2018 campaign
Russian model Kris Grikaite lands yet another Prada campaign for the brand’s resort 2018 season. Photographed by Willy Vanderperre at the Milan Osservatorio, the brunette wears feminine yet functional styles. Called ‘Perspectives’, the advertisements continue the company’s 365 approach. The images juxtapose a black and white full-length shot with a cropped color photograph at the right.
“The tension between the season’s inspirations of sport and the elegance of the Belle Époque era are played out here in the constant contrasts between the collection’s key looks and the unique architecture of the Galleria. The strict, artificial geometry of the iron and glass panorama is a potent contradiction to Grikaite’s natural, spontaneous demeanor,” reads Prada’s official press release.
