The dynamic duo, Livia Stoianova and Yassen Samouilov delivered at this years Fide Fashion Week a collection full of crystal crusted, attention commanding couture ensembles, with 11,000 glistening beetle wings for On Aura Tout Vu’s, “Cosmic Beetle” Spring Summer 2013 couture dresses that oozed a chic cyborg vibe, with over 50 square meters of Plexiglas used to create coral and fish bone inspired detail embroidery work.
The acrylic glass was also transformed to make exciting headpieces and matching pendulum earrings topped with spiky visor, while exaggerated collars and motorcycle gloves were covered generously in glamorous gems.
The representation of the colour yellow, according to co-founders and designers André de sà Pessoa, Livia Stoianova, and Yassen Samouilov, stands for enthusiasm, success, and power. There was also a brilliant fusion of Kopenhagen Fur and Swisstulle which made up the bright, biazzare but oh-so-beautiful selection of evening gowns ruched in flattering ways to accentuate peek-a-boo cut outs and high slits.
The finale look was mini haute couture bridal piece, worn by the lovely Emily Hwang an extraordinary craftsmanship of dainty Plexiglas!
