Women’s Fashion Week & Haute Couture 2012
Organized by Fide Fashion Week and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, VIP guests and fashionistas were dazzled by the impeccable craftsmanship and mesmerizing creations from some of the top names in the fashion world.
Women’s Fashion Week showcased Six womens wear pieces part of On Aura Tout Vu’s Spring Summer 2013 collection entitled “Somewhere Else Kingdom” and featuring women as “independent Queens”; they also provided a spot of colour with two bare-chested “centaurs”; the pieces On Aura Tout Vu designers Livia and Yassen created for a production for Monaco’s Les Ballets de Monte Carlo.
Both Julien Fournié and On Aura Tout Vu are known for “stretching the boundaries” of traditional haute couture fashion and were chosen especially for this attitude according to Frank Cintamani, Women’s Fashion Week and Haute Couture Week 2012 Singapore’s chairman and founder of Fide Fashion Weeks.
Women’s Fashion Week will run from 23 – 25 November and is open to the public. Haute Couture Week will run from 29 November – 2 December and is by invitation only. Both events will be held at Marina Bay Sands. For more information, please visit www.fidefashionsweeks.com
