Normally known for posing in swimsuits and lingerie, Irina Shayk shows off her ladylike side in Via Spiga’s fall-winter 2014 ad campaign. WWD shared the news and revealed that the advertisements were inspired by the look of the Italian flag with red, white and green accents for the set design.

The Russian model is channels 1960s style in motorcycle boots and graphic-print pumps, posing for Miles Aldridge. “I used a white room as a blank canvas to contrast the pure beauty of Irina Shayk against blocks of pure abstract color. The resulting compositions — with their graphic forms centered around the statuesque beauty of Irina — have an affinity with the heritage of the cinema of Michelangelo Antonionni and Italian abstract paintings from the 1960s,”Aldridge says about the advertisements’ inspiration.
