All eight – luck number alert! – are perfumed with the flavor and scent of the premium teas the brand is famous for. The snowskin varieties, in particular, are redolent with the intoxicating aroma of TWG Tea’s Yin Zhen white tea. Pry one of these treasures open with a fork to yield a pillowy soft vanilla mousse; another comes with a dark, sensuous heart of chocolate and cherry marmalade.
The traditional mooncakes, meanwhile, are savoury baked ingots stuffed with a sumptuously smooth lotus filling and a buried salted egg yolk.
