Being the Official Jewellery and Watch of The 25th Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF), Chaumet lent support to The Silver Screen Awards held on the evening of December 13, at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
French actress and current face of Chaumet, Marine Vacth, award-winning Singapore based Malaysia-born actress Yeo Yann Yann and Chinese actress Huang Lu attended the awards ceremony as presenters, dressed in Chaumet jewelry. The Silver Screen Awards was launched with the aim of creating awareness of the rich filmmaking talents throughout Asia and to pave the way for a Singapore film industry.
Earlier in the afternoon Marine Vacth also participated in the SGIFF Masterclass: Women in Film alongside Yeo Yann Yann and Huang Lu to share their collective experiences and their working process with the directors of the films. The discussion also covered their views on the evolving role of women in films, filmmakers they aspire to work with, and the role they are pursuing for next.
Chaumet has long been committed to supporting the film industry and celebrating cinema’s best talents, as seen from its active role as the Official Partner of César Awards in France for almost a decade.
