This festive season, plenty of gustatory pleasure is in order. Titillate your tastebuds with these gorgeously plated victuals from the St. Regis Singapore. One of our favorite posh places in town, the hotel’s famed Brasserie Les Saveurs and Drawing Room will be offering a slew of tempting gourmet treats this Christmas and New Year, in two specially created seven-course degustation menus to be served on the eve of the two special holidays.

In tandem with the spirit of meaningful Christmas giving, The St. Regis Singapore will be raising funds for the Very Special Arts (VSA) Singapore. The VSA aims to provide individuals with disabilities the opportunity to access the arts for rehabilitation and social integration. Encouraging all guests to be part of this charity drive, The St. Regis Singapore will be adding a nominal S$1 to the bill at all restaurants, bars and for festive takeaways in the month of December. The full amount raised will go towards VSA, and guests have the option to pass on the contribution if they prefer to not to participate.

Braised wild boar with mashed potatoes, baby vegetables and red wine jus

Partake in a very special European Christmas Dinner with a degustation menu that promises to be a magnificent culinary showcase, perfectly paired with a premium selection of wines from France, Austria, New Zealand and Italy. The gastronomic affair begins with an appetiser of Oyster shooter, cucumber jelly and sea water espuma, and Hokkaido scallops tartare, caviar, sea urchin and rouille toast: the sea on a plate.

Revel in French classics like the Pan-seared foie gras, butter squash purée, apple and celeriac chutney and duck vinaigrette; the succulent Poached maine lobster, fork mashed potatoes, black truffle and bisque jus, and indulge in the Christmas centrepiece of Slow-cooked stuffed turkey, cauliflower purée, brussels sprouts, chestnut and pancetta.

Truffle fans will be seduced by the rich Black truffle brie cheese, toast and mesclun salad. Round off a memorable evening with the hand-crafted Chocolate mousse, hazelnut feuilletine and gingerbread sorbet.

Close the year with the delectable selection of seven beautifully-presented dishes cooked to perfection. Begin with the intensely flavourful Truffle scrambled egg, and Duck foie gras terrine, smoked duck breast, brioche and truffle, before moving onto the elaborate Pumpkin velouté, lobster tartar, caviar and cream fraîche and Pan-seared cod, warm oyster, sautéed seaweed and chicken butter sauce.

The star here is the finely marbled Wagyu beef sirloin, potatoes mousseline, bone marrow and Bordelaise jus. Captivate tastebuds with the popular Black truffle brie cheese, toast and mesclun salad; and last but not least, close dinner on a sweet note with a Snowball meringue, strawberry, white chocolate and Manjari.
