We have already featured the IWC Vintage Collection, as well as their new Pilot’s Watches for father and son that the Schaffhausen-based company will be showcasing at this year’s SIHH, or Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie.

For the third consecutive year, IWC is supporting the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation with a special limited edition of the Da Vinci Chronograph. The watch features an engraving of a winning entry from an IWC drawing competition by 15-year-old Heena Javed Shaikh from India, and shows a group of girls playing handball. Part of the proceeds from the sales of these 1,000 pieces will go in aid of the Foundation’s numerous projects to benefit more than 150,000 children worldwide.

IWC has also introduced a rose gold version of the Portuguese Tourbillon Mystère. Occupying the 12 o’clock instead of the conventional 6 o’clock position, the tourbillon appears to float in mid-air, as it is mounted on bearings on one side, giving the illusion of a ‘flying’ tourbillon.
