It’s always the ones that zag when others zig that you have to watch. At the same place that KTZ, brainchild of Marjan Pejoski, explored the exotic East through the sands of Morocco featuring a kaleidoscope of mirrored embroideries, he was elevating his craft to greater intricacies.

KTZ has a reputation for formalizing clubwear with the intensity of an armoured Joan of Arc gracing her saintly presence with Handira-styled tunics. And that’s how nomadic sensibilities get translated into athleticism meant for the club scene: heavy embroidery skirting across hoods paired with signature printed leggings.

It’s been anything but a subtle theme from KTZ so far, but where other designers harnessed details in minute ways, Pejoski amplified the motifs with a delirious splash of chunky bangles and bulbous earrings. It was a sabbath of the bold, with every pleated skirt and laser-cut leather geometric. They are the dancefloor’s tribesmen with lionhearts, but above all there is a triumph of the restless voice here.
