The Beast and Belle share a dance on the cover of Entertainment Weekly
Entertainment Weekly shares a first look at Disney’s live action version of ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Emma Watson stars as Belle and Dan Stevens plays the Beast on the magazine’s November 11, 2016 cover. The two share a dance in a ornate ballgown.
Costume designer Jacqueline Durran worked on the movie’s designs including Belle’s yellow ballgown (the most iconic look from the animated film) and a blue dress she wears in the castle’s library.
Talking about the original 1991 version, Emma Watson tells the magazine, “I can’t even think how many times I watched it as a child,” she says. “I knew all the words by heart. I knew all the songs by heart.” Discover more images of Emma Watson in costume below!
