Brazilian eco-conscious jelly footwear brand, Melissa, collaborates with Jason Wu, J. Maskrey, Gareth Pugh, Campana Brothers, and the Fashion Icon and Legend himself, Karl Lagerfeld, to create the Fall Winter 2014 collection, Melissa Nation – a celebration of ethnic diversity and multiculturalism.
To commemorate the official launch of this multicultural-inspired collection, MDREAMS boutique located at Wheelock Place will be putting on a special 15 minutes performance of Brazilian Samba (batucada) at the main entrance of the mall at 12:30pm. Models clad in colourful outfits by local designer, Rayson Tan, will also be grooving to the beats alongside the percussion band. Cash vouchers and the official Melissa magazine ‘Plastic Dream’ will be up for grabs during this period as well.
