Just in time for Valentine’s Day! Banana Republic is a go-to retailer for all things classic and preppy, but now they’re taking their efforts into a new kind of shopping. Shopping for relationships that is.
Banana Republic is collaborating with match.com to host eight “meet and greet” nights for match.com members after store hours as a part of a new “Love” campaign.
These events will take place in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York, among other cities, and is the first time Banana Republic has hosted an event such as this.
The promotion is part of Banana Republic’s “Love” campaign, which will also see the company employ social marketing outreach using photos from a fashion blogger’s Banana Republic apparel-clad date with her husband, which were posted on Twitter and Facebook.
The campaign launched on the 7th of February.
