Bally’s new campaign certainly captures the essence of Spring with vibrant colors, visually striking pieces and a wanderlust vibe in its new travel-inspired Spring/Summer 2016 ready to wear collections.

The sky’s the limit in the luxury Swiss label’s new campaign – that is to say, there is none. Old and new clash head on in an interesting, eccentric mashup of culture; fashion rules are irrelevant and tossed aside for a gamble and playfully irreverent looks hint at an adventurous heart.

Timeless pieces like the silk tuxedo and crocodile-skin shoes are reinvented in a casual twist, paired with unexpected separates. Key looks channel Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom in a nostalgic whim, paired with a cool retro suitcase emblazoned with vintage patches reminiscent of designs from the Bally archives.

In his second collaboration with Bally, Franck Durand, artistic director of Atelier, took to the streets of London for the campaign shoot, starring Edita Vilkeviciute as the all-American girl wandering the capital alongside French model Clément Chabernaud. The campaign is shot by acclaimed photographer Alasdair McLellan, who relates the story of freedom and wanderlust in his lenses, whether strolling casually past Portobello Market or trailing the Hollywood Hills.
