La Perla models adding a dash of Oriental sensuality to the evening
With the Singapore Grand Prix weekend having just whizzed past us, here’s a look at some of the beautiful people at the ultra-exclusive Amber Lounge soiree. We’ve billed it as the “after-party to end all after-parties”, and this year’s shenanigans did not disappoint. Star after international star jetsetted their way into the red-lit tentage, where drinks flowed fast and furious.
As if the off-duty models slinking around with flutes of bubbly in hand weren’t enough, revelers were treated to a sumptuous presentation of La Perla’s latest trove of lingerie.
Lacquered patterns, open satin kimonos and lots of peekaboo lace provided a decorous amount of modesty for the immaculately made up ladies walking the runway on Saturday.
“Invincible” British crooner Lemar was also on hand to seranade the head-bopping crowd with his latest R&B hits, before handing the stage to Amber Lounge’s resident DJs.
Spotted in the A-list crowd: a whole slew of high-profile celebs like Adam Levine and Chris Thomas from the Pretenders, as well as straight-off-the-racetrack F1 drivers Sebastian Buemi, Sam Bird, Esteban Gutierrez, Jules Bianchi, Dani Clos and Ma Qing Hua.
Take it from the boss herself, Amber Lounge founder and owner Sonia Irvine, who said of the electrifying two-night set: “This year we had a flawless fashion show, an amazing Lemar performance and a fantastic weekend all round – something that sets Amber Lounge apart and defines a true VIP nightlife experience!”
